My cellphone trying to access my NAS and router on its own

Hi,

My andriod phone is accessing my NAS and router on its own.  I think I got a RAT in my cellphone.  So, I installed McAfee Mobile Security to check it out, but found nothing.  Do I need to use a different product in order to scan for RAT on my cellphone.

Thanks,

I see my phone pop up saying connect and disconnect to NAS  & router.  But, I didn't do anything nor have any app to allow me to access them.  The phone model is LG Stylo.

Hello

As you have mentioned you are getting popup to connect/ disconnect in your phone, from which  app you do get the popup?

Is that from McAfee Safeconnect? Please check it under settings/ apps or apps manager- (Check the apps list)

Re: My cellphone trying to access my NAS and router on its own

Hello,

When I see the popup, I try to see what is running on my phone, but it just close all apps right the way without me touching anything.  I couldn't find out which app is doing it.  Otherwise, I will just uninstall the app to fix the problem.
