Dropped call caused device lock

While driving (handsfree with phone paired to car), a call was dropped a few times.  When I took my phone out of my pocket, discovered McAfee had locked it due to detection of new SimCard (false, of course).  How does one get error fixed?

Re: Dropped call caused device lock

Hi,

While you are travelling, the mobile tower to which your sim is connected changes based on your location. When your phone gets connected to new tower, McAfee may take this as a change of sim. This is as per the Anti Theft feature.

There is an option to turn of the phone lock itself entirely, but this isnt recommended as McAfee's main function along is to provide device security along with antivirus protection.
