VPN Issues

So for about three weeks my I-mac was reflecting my territory as Argentina.  This caused my weather apps to be from Argentina, my Amazon Prime account insisting I was traveling abroad and thus could not view certain programs, google searches too  were in Spanish. I tried everything to fix.  It was not my Wi-Fi service or my location settings, etc.  After much frustration, I finally stumbled across an article which stated that your VPN may be the problem.  Turns out it was right and I had to turn off my VPN which was McAfee's and came installed with my protection program.  I have read this can be an issue with "safe connect" and it certainly was.    I do not want to have to purchase another  VPN and am not sure from what I have read,  it matters anyway for the average home user.  Certainly will not use McAfee's in its present form. Others have this problem?

May I know the OS version that installed on your device?

Kindly let us know whether VPN is connected by safe connect or inbuilt McAfee application?

If the VPN connection is inbuild in McAfee software then kindly help us with the McAfee version installed on your device?

I'm having this same issue with McAfee Total Protection Secure VPN on Mac Pro Ventura 13.4.1. 

Whenever I log in or, after about 10 minutes of normal use, the VPN will reset from United States to Argentina.  I tried re-installing McAfee, but it didn't correct the issue.

Tried logging into the McAfee Support Community to ask questions, but this website has issues as well.  Both Chrome and Safari would act strangely - but only for this website.  Ex. When you type 'VPN Argentina' into the Support Community search, it autocorrects spelling from 'VPN' to 'VAN'.  Also the search results were in Dutch.  I checked both my browser and O/S settings and they were set to English.  I also received strange errors from this website (something about 'too long'?).  Finally I got in to write this using FireFox.
