Can you please have them look at the dialogue box that pops up. In Dark Mode you can't see ANY of the letters, which means it looks blank.
Is there any update or news on this, as its now been 2-3 days for me and its still failing to download the virus definitions, it would be great if the Mac version had an option to import the Virus files manually, i.e. to browse for the latest file you can download from the McAfee web site, but there is no function for this, so I am unable to update them manually or automatically and my Macs (both of them) are checking daily and auto throwing the dialogue to say its failed.

This is marked as having a solution, however when I click on "Jump to solution" it doesn't point to an actual solution, just your initial response that engineering is aware of this. Am I missing something?
It because for some reason the original post is querying Virus Definitions not downloading and the solution (which has been marked on that email incorrectly) is that there is reported issue with downloading Virus Updates which engineers are working on.
I am not sure why that first message has been marked Solved, all I can assume is the original poster has marked it as Solved, since they saw it was not a problem with their installation and was an issue for all users. It really needs to be "unmarked", so it would need a moderator to mark it.
As far as I am concerned there is still a problem downloading updates (manually or automatically via Mac, its working fine for my PCs tho.
Same for me in manual and automatic, but in fact the update seems to be ok for the DAT file (today date).

It seems there are also side effect to the fire-wall, I had to add rules "TCP : 137, 139 UDP : 137, 138, 5355"
to be able to keep CIFS/SMB working from W10.
