Mac Wireless Printer Blocked - Tutorial of How to Fix

Here's an easy way to fix your Mac's wireless printer:

On the top of your Mac, open the "McAfee Live Safe - Internet Security Preferences"

See attachments #2 for a visual guide

1. Click on the Firewall icon

2. Click on the padlock and open it.

3. On the "Type" dropdown bar, choose "Home or Work"

4. LOCK the padlock again to save your changes.

You should now be able to print.

Please try the below steps and update us the status:

1. Go to McAfee Firewall Settings.
2. Select “My Network Connections”
3. Check if the local IP Address is added to it. ...
4. In case if the address are already added, try to change the Security Level to “Work” and save the settings and then try accessing the printer.

This has solved my local network problem with both wireless printer and my MacBook.
