Mac Full Scan

Jump to solution

Is it abnormal for a full scan to take more than 7 hours and still be going and to have scanned more than 2.5 million files?

hi @JLFIG

It is normal for a full scan to complete in 1 to 2 hours. But if you have a external drive connected to your MAC or depending on the files you have it may take longer time than normal to complete a full scan.

Thanks & Regards
