Problem reports: on the new Ventura I cannot get the scan to work and the console halts repeatedly. Apple suggested using Safe mode to run the scan. That worked.
Something in background is interfering with the normal mode(not safe) scans.
1. It says the "Vshieldtaskmanager" does not have full access and it does but it does.
2. The history says there are scans but the scans were failures and never finished.
"No response from scanners"
3. The tech line could only recommend a reinstall which did not fix the problem.

After waiting for updates to McAfee and MAC and waiting a week, I completely removed
McAfee and reinstalled. Still had one failure of the scanner; took the WIFI down and
enabled one of the McAfee items that the instructions missed. Have had two good
scans and no Console aborts so it appears the problems are now fixed. They seem
to have gotten things working again.

Several would not turn off. Several non-McAfee items will have to
be turned on again. Like the microsoft updater.
That did nothing to fix the scan stopping; it still stopped:
"Scanning stopped. No response from scanners"
