Installing 4.10

Jump to solution

I upgraded my MacBook to Big Sur, and now I need to uninstall/reinstall McAfee.  However, when I download the latest installer (clean downloads folder) and try to install, I only get version 4.9.  According to the docs, I have to reinstall to get 4.10, I can't get there via update.

How do I get the latest version?  I have McAfee through my CenturyLink service.

Thanks!

After spending another day on this, I have decided that in spite of the claims on your website, McAfee products are not currently supported on the latest version of MacOS (Big Sur).  Because of this I am afraid that I need to research alternative solutions.  If a supported version is released soon, I will reconsider this move but I am not willing to leave my computer unprotected until then.

Thank you for following up.  After following those steps I am still at version 4.9.0.2.  How can I get 4.10, the supported version for the Big Sur OS?

Thanks!
