I have the same issue. I am a LiveSafe subscriber and have tried all the options provided including reinstalling, but the installer version I can get is always 3.3 and the downloaded application version is 3.8.1.2. It is no way for me to get either 3.9 or 4.1 unfortunately.

It is critical to us the users, that on the Update page you recommend us to keep everything updated so that we can survive the latest threats. But we can't update at all. Please address this issue asap.

Hi,

I updated my Macbook to mac os high sierra today and before that I uninstalled my McAfee LiveSafe and re-installed it after the update. Firstly the real live scan did not work, it said turn it on. Secondly, the update button doesn't work properly even though I read here that it probably has fixed as they released the new version 4.1.2. It says on the front page that you care secured and everything is green, however on top of the Macbook when I click McAfee icon it says "Mac is in danger". What is the problem with this?

Please try McAfee update twice or re-install McAfee to get the latest version 4.13 and let us know the status
