Macintosh problems (and McAfee website issue)

  1. Your web site has a MAJOR bug in that if you fill out all the info and select MACINTOSH, you still get routed to a PC Chat person, who then has to route you to a Mac guy after all the verification and question.
  2. There is no way to resize the Quarantine window, so you can’t see the path to the reported problems. You can’t double-click to find the path. The only way I have found to find the path is to individually select an item and then hold the mouse over it. For long and complex paths, this can take quite some time to see the path and open the offending folder. A double-click on the item would be so much better.
  3. NOTHING is reported as the problem, only that it was a “threat.” 50+ emails that supposedly are a “threat” is somewhat unbelievable. I’ve checked a couple looking at the raw source and find nothing wrong. Some are spam messages, so maybe that is what is triggering McAfee, but it would be nice for the program to simply report that.

Re: Macintosh problems (and McAfee website issue)

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response

1. Your web site has a MAJOR bug in that if you fill out all the info and select MACINTOSH, you still get routed to a PC Chat person, who then has to route you to a Mac guy after all the verification and question.

We checked on this from our end, its connecting to the right person when we chose to get support for Mac. We would like to know, did you choose Technical Assistance on "How can we assist you?"  option.

Quarantine window cannot be resized and double click will not work for the threats detected window as per design, We will take this as a feedback to the concerned team

If McAfee detects a suspicious will show them on scan results. No matter its a spam message or a file.
