Delete quarantined files

LiveSafe found issues on my Mac and has quarantined several files. After clicking open the lock on my iMac and entering the admin password, I could click on one file or select all files displayed on page 1 of the list. At this point the "Delete" button is activated, but clicking on the button does nothing. No files are deleted.

How do I empty the contents of the Quarantined Folder? I am on Mac OS Big Sur v11.6

Re: Delete quarantined files

Hi @Lathigra

We regret for the inconvenience!

The McAfee security software for macOS includes a program called VirusScan that scans and protects your computer. When a file or program is scanned, VirusScan compares it to known threats. It can delete or quarantine the file if it appears to contain a virus or other type of threat. Kindly access the below link that has information on how to delete or restore quarantined items. Please try the steps in the article and let us know the outcome.
