trying to print in windows 11

Jump to solution

Just taken a new Dell laptop with Mcafee protection

All is well except I can't print to my wireless HP printer

I think this may be due to the LiveSafe firewall but I cannot switch this off to test this theory. I click on the Firewall app in LiveSafe, then "Turn off". I keep the resume period to "Never"

This shows the Firewall as being off in LiveSafe but when I return to Windows Defender Firewall, this is still showing  that the firewall is being managed by McAfee Personal Firewall.

I have also switched off Real Time Scanning in LiveSafe

How do I actually switch off the McAfee firewall, or does anyone have an idea as to what else I could try to get the printer working?

Any help is really appreciated

thanks
