The entire option of a VPN connection has disappeared from my McAfee LiveSafe user interface. Apparently, this isn't a rare occurrence, and the usual advice is to uninstall and then reinstall.
But when I was on my way to do that, McAfee flashed me a warning banner that if I uninstall, I will lose my free 1-year subscription that came with my new laptop (which I've purchased just a couple weeks ago).
Will I not be able to continue the subscription when I reinstall McAfee? should I be worried?
If yes, how can I solve the VPN issue without reinstalling?
