Hello.
Does McAfee LiveSafe include spam protection for Outlook 2016?
I appreciate that it would not support web (browser) based email.

hello,
Great to read you could answer your own question.
another option to enable Antispam is when you open Livesafe.
on the right Upper corner there is a setting wheel (next to the alarmbell and lightbulb icon)
click on the setting wheel and you have a quick overview which features are enabled by default.
when scrolling down to the My privacy there you find Antispam and there you could have set it to On and it would have been installed also.
maybe something for future refference.

Hello.
Answering my own post, McAfee LiveSafe does include spam protection plugin for Outlook but it was not enabled by default when I installed LiveSafe.
I enabled the spam protection by
1. Open McAfee LiveSafe and click on the "Privacy" tab.
2. In the bottom right-hand corner there is a "Lock Private Files", under which is the word "Install".
3. Click on the "Lock Private Files (Install)" option.
4. Pop-up message appears with a list of the optional extras that you can install, if they are not installed already: Web Advisor, spam protection and locking private files.
5. Click the relevant extra and apply the change.
6. Once McAfee LiveSafe has downloaded the required data, your extras are set to go.
In my case, Outlook 2016 now has a McAfee anti-spam panel.

hello,
you are very welcome and glad i could assist.
by the way when you open LiveSafe there is a great green check icon that says you are safe.
above this green check icon there are three little dots.......
have you noticed them and clicked to see status ?
