The article and support mechanism is useless. I'm just trying to open any file from Google Drive (synced on my laptop), it throws this error message and does not allow to open any file.  If I stop real time scan, then also file gets opened from Google Drive. If I copy the same file on desktop or local harddisk, it opens perfectly ok.


Please understand the issue and extend support on my ticket.

This issue just started for me on Dec 3, 2021

I have a simple java pdf merge utility that is in a jar file (which I wrote myself) residing on my google drive and now mcafee antivirus blocks it every time I try to run it. I use this utility to merge pdf files that reside on my google drive (G: drive).

I get "We stopped something dangerous" everytime I try to run it.......and java complains that the file is corrupt.

When I disable mcafee it works fine.

This is a real problem for my it prevents us from doing our jobs!
