I play computer games alot.
When those popups come up about renewal ending soon (starts months before) and other things, it goes off my game or interupts the game, i lose control for few moments..
Is there a way to stop them popping up?
I know when it ends without those.
Sometimes I think that would be the thing to stop me renewing.
thanks

Hi
I have the information alerts box unticked already.
Still pops up on tray bottom right of windows.
Had 2 tonight, one on renewal and one on something else.
Anything else to try?
Regards
Shirl
Some notifications can be stopped in browser settings but renewal ones are marketing group and unstoppable from what I was told a few years ago.
Do Mcafee have a Gamers mode like Nortons that hides things when in games?
I have looked about can't see anything like that on the website.
Some games I play in full screen, some are in windows.

Unsure if this does what you want but McAfee has a product McAfee Gamer security. Maybe check their site for details.
When I go to Settings >> General Settings >> Information alerts there is no option to turn it off. I don't want the annoying pop-ups.
Hello @JessieO
you are right that there is currently no option to turn off alert settings.
however McAfee is aware of this and for about a week ago McAfee moderator Venkat replied in other topic the following message;
We would like to inform you that McAfee aware of this alerts and the concern team in the progress to bring some changes for marketing alerts. I shall keep us updated once receive any further information on this.
Regards,
Venkat
hope that those changes are coming soon
