How do you remove the "McAfee Vaults" folder from the Documents folder

I recently tried to delete this link from My Documents, however it refused, I then created a System Files folder in my Documents, thinking I could hide it in there. However, the next time I booted up my PC McAfee created a new Vaults link in My Documents and I am now stuck with two of these files and neither of them will delete.

If it try to delete in windows explorer it requests administrator permission, I give it, but it still fails, and comes up with the option to try again or cancel. It never works no matter how often I try.

Is there a way to uninstall File Lock? or the Vaults program? I would just uninstall McAfee altogether if it wasn't for the fact I've paid for a years subscription.

I never have used it but some thoughts

1. How to create a personal vault in File Lock

shows how to change default location

2. Remove Mcafee

How to uninstall or re-install supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool

reinstall via custom install and do not install file lock maybe this will uninstall the icon permanently

3. Call support and ask them

#2 should be the best way.
