Hallo,

I need the old firewall where I can manage the connections. This is a significant reduction in functionality! And I paid for this functionality. I will not continue to pay for McAfee if this is not changed!
OK, three weeks gone, a chat with a guy from McAfee without a solution. One week to go to and then I will cancel my McAfee subscription and go to a competitor, since the most essential feature for me is taken away without warning or user option. It´s really sad!
So there seems to be a "half" solution:
Now theres a shortcut in the Mc Afee firewall settings to the Windows Defender Firewall settings, which is supposed to work together with Mc Afee.
For me it works 50%. I tried if it really works by blocking iTunes as a test. If I just block inbound traffic, iTunes still connects to the internet and I can play Apple Music and stuff - which, in my understanding, shouldn't be possible if the inbound traffic would actually be blocked.
If I block outbound traffic, iTunes doesn't connect.
I'm not really happy with this solution because it doesn't seem to work 100% properly and the usability is not really good but at least it's something... I hope Mc Afee will work on it and maybe reconsider this connection to Windows Defender Firewall. I still would prefer a rollback to the old firewall
