So is every1 us included locked out of fast replies. My 1st scam 430K file 1hr second scan similar number and 26 mins. Is pausing and jumping large % scanned amounts but I have and CD has reported this so best we let them work on it.

We discussed this today and hopefully there will be some additional functionality being rolled out in September. As for Latency issues ( 300mbs ) my processor is a  Intel Pentium i7. And I use only 1 partition(C: drive). It really is not a problem as it scans properly. Just not as quick.

In yours/PK's instance it  is much quicker.

I did not note the time my first scan took.  I usually start a scan and go do other things.  So I don't know if the time was less/more/same.  Perhaps, McAfee should record how long the scan took in their log?

My bad,  it does record the time in the history log.  Previous scan took 45 minutes.  Second scan took 34 minutes.  So somewhat of a reduction.  I had also done a windows backup between the first and second scan.
