I was looking at recent events and under 1 i.p it said,a computer at 167.206.251.129 has sent an invalid packet to your computer. Can anyone tell me if this means it was delivered through my firewall to my computer.I also have another ip that is constantly scanning my computer from a differant address that i can`t ban there is no obtion. Is that normal?I can`t afford to go through another computer with Mcafee installed.

Sorry, it's difficult to get to everyone who posts. If it's the Inbound Events that you are reading then don't worry about it, we all get similar events showing up.
All of them represent failed attempts at entry.
The reason i was worried ex-brit,was this inbound actually said a computer at this ip has sent an invalid packet. All of the others say a computer has attempted.I know your swamped,i wish i knew a bit more i would be glad to help the few people on here, like yourself that do most of the work.I hope Mcafee at least gives you a free subsciption for all the work you do on here.If you get a chance let me know about this. Thanks very much.A happy and healthy new year to you.
Thanks very much and a very Happy New Year to you. They give us deals but no pay...as we are all volunteers.
I've seen those invalid packet thingies from time to time. I just ignore them. Technical Support should, I would hope, be able to explain exactly what that means. I'm afraid it's beyond me...LOL.
Thanks again Peter,I really appreciate all of your help.
You're welcome and good luck.
