Windows Security Center

I'm on vista.

Every time i start up my computer Windows Security Center pops up and says somethign about my malware protection settings.

Everything in mcaffe is always up and running, but the fact that vista tells me my antivirus malware might not be installed that just doesn't sound good

it says virus protection is 'off' and to turn on now. when i click turn on it doesn't switch to on

might be an error in vista but it would be nice to get it resolved

I get that too occasionally, but not enough to really worry me as it seems to self-correct after a few moments.

If it's really worrying you you could repair the Windows Security Center by rebuilding it as per this tutorial:
