If you don't see the button it means something is not right with your browser, perhaps you need to update Java and/or Flash etc. etc.

Try a different browser.

BTW what browser and version are you using?   That missing button appears to be a Javascript (not Java) issue from what I'm told.

Re: Windows 10 Being Released on July 29, 2015

Good evening,

Sorry for this "late" response.

The browser used is Firefox ESR 38.0.1.

Java is not installed on the computer, just to secure a little more

Thank you for the invitation to join the Beta Group.

I use adblock Edge, but of course I tried with and without, same result.

I am surprised that the reactive Defender McAfee products during their installation?

Do you know the cause?

Sorry for the flood of questions, but I like to understand

Sincerely;

VigenTests.

Hi VigenTests,

Windows Defender needs to be Deactivated prior to installing McAfee Products. After McAfee is fully installed, can it be Reactivated without problems. But in Windows 10, Windows Defender must be Turned off Completely, since I don't think that you can only disabled the Anti-virus portion of Windows Defender, without disabling the Spyware portion.

Windows Defender does prevent some portions of McAfee Products from being installed, like the Anti-Virus, which happened to me, so now I know about it.

Oops! Adding Firefox 32-Bit version is now at 38.0.5 Build.

I suggest you update as that is an old version.  Latest is 38.0.5

Try installing it, it's perfectly safe as long as you keep it updated = normally it updates automatically.  Also Firefox only uses it with your permission at default settings anyway.

If you mean the software disables Windows Defender when installed, that is normal.  In Windows 7 and below you can safely reactivate it, but in Windows 8 or above do not activate it as their version contains antivirus.

Footnote, Firefox should handle Javascript automatically anyway so not sure why that button wasn't showing.

Hello;

"I suggest you update as that is an old version.  Latest is 38.0.5"

You are sure?

Mean "up to date"

For Java, I'm not in the utility, so as remove.

No, I meant the opposite.

With defender goes out before installing McAfee, it reactivates defender during installation of McAfee product.

With IE it did not appear either ...

OK I am not familiar with FF ESR so I'll leave that alone.

Re: Windows 10 Being Released on July 29, 2015

I made a small test

On a machine without McAfee with Defender on "Automatic startup (deferred)"

If you install McAfee, Defender goes into "manual";)

So I think that if your defender is off, in all cases McAfee launches his application and therefore responsive service ... Simple supposition.
