I do run malwarebytes. I am licensed and it runs per a schedule (and on demand) should I feel the need.
Not got its real time scanner active I hope. That can/might clash with Mcafee's
I don't see any real time scanner setting in malwarebytes.
By your Screenshot it looks as though you( do) have it enabled. Also another indication is in order to schedule a scan, you have to be running the Real Time Scanning module. Running it with these settings can possibly clash with McAfee.
For example here is my (Free) Version.
My licensed version has much less info... I like what I see on the free version better.
Again, as you can see you have the Realtime Protection (enabled). Unlike my (Free) version which has no RTS module.
I don't see, or know of, a way to turn that off. I've run scheduled scans for 10 years and malwarebytes for a bunch of those and there has never been a conflict. Maybe if I uninstall and reinstall and get R15.1 R2 scheduled scans will, once again, show up.
What we are trying to inform you of,is that even though you will be able to set a scheduled McAfee scan. There could possibly be conflicts/clashes with 2 active Anti-Virus/Malware RTS modules on simultaneously. You can turn off the Reatime Web Protection by going to *Advanced Options* in your Malwarebytes Interface.
I might add that the majority of the years Malwarebytes has been out, there was no (Realtime Scan module) available until the (Pro Version) was created.
which of these settings are you referring to:
