Scans take longer.. for some reason.

On the first, and normally before now,  it would take say 1-3 hours.

On the first, was the last time I used my computer before today, now today it's taken since 3pm, to now at 8:50pm.

The scan is only at 22%..

So, in 6 hours, there's been 44%.

Scheduled scan - 6 hours; 44 percent.

Full scan - 2 hours; 44 percent.

Re: Scans take longer.. for some reason.

When you say it stops in 44%, is it getting struck in any particular location or file? Also what is the size of your Hard Disk Drive?

It's not getting stuck, those are the times for the scans, why does one take longer and the other shorter.

Re: Scans take longer.. for some reason.

It depends upon the size of the file it’s scanning and I guess you forgot to mention the size of your Hard Disk Drive…
