Online backup restore - not so smooth

Hi All,

HELP

My old computer crashed and I have a new computer, and now would like to get all my online backupped files back.

That is easier said than done.

I have about 450 GB backup-ed, mainly family pictures...

Webrestore:

- gives back less files than in the back up from the requested more than 100.000 files only about in the selection

The result are some .zip or .exe files, .zip files work fine, but the .exe files can't be executed on my new W8 computer.

Normal restore:

- when running a full day, it only restores about 35 GB (I have about a 7.5MByte download connection) and does not continue the next day. Looks that every file is checked and that is taking a long time.

Option to skip existing files is not there, so starting all over again.

Any tips to do a full-restore in an acceptable time?

Download & install 7 ZIP application, it’s a free software, which will help you open .exe files. To get the decent download speed, download & install any free download manager software’s then try restoring the files online.
