Never have meaningful response from Refund request

I was double billed in 2022. After I sent a request last week, I received a private message. I sent my contact information to the person. But my issue hasn't been resolved. I disabled auto-renew in my account. I got a warning, I lost some protection. Why the service I subscripted is linked to auto-renew? After my purchase expired, I won't use McAfee again. It is a trap.
