Restore remove Mcafee via windows removal followed by MCPR then reboot and run
http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/Mcpreinstall.exe
and reinstall from your account
BTW what file is it that it says cannot be accessed?
The only way to get a stable Windows 7 command prompt on this computer is to boot from a Windows 7 OEM installation DVD.
In this mode works not MCPR.exe or Mcpreinstall.exe
From the Windows 7 OEM installation DVD I can also run system restore but unfortunately provides no information on which file that can't be accessed...
Ok what I suggested and correct me if I misunderstand but you can restore to a former time? If so can you then uninstall mcafee?
I also missed to inform 🙂
The file that couldn’t be accessed breaks down the system restore, I can't go on 😞
Right now it seems to be a hardware failure
The memory test was great a few days ago but no it's really bad...
If it is memory issue maybe remove a stick or two and see how it goes?
