Hi everyone..!! I am using McAfee in my DELL laptop.
There was a nice time with McAfee but now
WHEN I UPDATE, THE UPDATES ARE DOWNLOADED 100% BUT INSTALLATION RUNS TILL 66%
and i get a message INSTALLATION ERROR.. YOUR COMPUTER IS AT RISK..
So please help me to come out of this problem..

Before we proceed with further TBS, kindly use the below removal tool to remove the McAfee completely. After removing the McAfee, reinstall the McAfee from online and check the issue.

What is the type of operating system you are using ? What is the service pack installed?
What is the type of Internet Connection ?
What is the version of McAfee ? Open McAfee - > go to About- -> get me the versions
What is the name of the McAfee product you have installed on the machine ?

The details are as follows :
1. My OS is WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM (SERVICE PACK 1)
2.I'm using BSNL BROADBAND UNLIMITED USAGE PLAN
3.The McAfee i'm using is
VERSION: 11.6
BUILD : 11.6.477
4.It is named as McAfee Security Center
The problem still persists and badly in need of your assistance.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled my McAfee product and the problem is resolved now.
