How to remove the McAfee Anti-Theft /Intel Anti-Theft Service (TS102246)

IMPORTANT: Technical support for Intel Anti-Theft (IATS) and McAfee Anti-Theft (MAT) ended on March 31, 2015. This means that McAfee's technical support agents can no longer provide you with technical support for these products. However, self-help is still available via articles in McAfee Support Portal. You should also note that our technical support agents do not have access to your unlock password. For more information about the Anti-Theft End of Life, see TS101986.

If you have any of the following McAfee Anti-Theft or Intel Anti-Theft products installed on a device, you should remove it as soon as possible because these products have reached End of Life (EOL) and are no longer supported:

  • Intel Anti-Theft Service 1.x
  • Intel Anti-Theft Service 2.x
  • McAfee Anti-Theft Service 1.x
  • McAfee Anti-Theft Service 2.x
