Re: McAfee Services Host Shutting Down

Windows Defender is fine in Vista or 7, as long as this is not Windows 8.  In Windows 8 WD is different and contains an antivirus which will clash with other security software so gets turned off automatically and should remain off.

Malwarebytes can be turned back on or reinstalled as long as it's not the Pro - paid version.

If the problem continues I suggest you contact Technical Support.

Re: McAfee Services Host Shutting Down

Thank you.  Will see how it goes at tomorrow's startup.  I just ran a quick scan and it seemed to work OK so I think it is on.

As long as it's green and telling you that you're protected it's fine.  Good luck 😉
