I have Windows 10, using McAfee Internet Security, recently my computer has been freezing and slowing up considerably. I turned off Realtime scanning and the computer runs okay, can anyone help with a fix?

I wonder if you have any other Security application running as well? Or if you have inadvertently picked up a (Pup)?
Although Malwarebytes (Free) is compatible alongside your McAfee Software. If you are running the Pro Version,it is advisable to (Disable) the RTS module to prevent any clashes.
Short of removing your McAfee software from your Control Panel/Programs and Features/Restart. Then following up with the MCPR Tool to remove any remnants. Then go to your account and reinstall.

Thank you catdaddy, I ran the virtual technician, nothing came up. I uninstalled LiveSafe completely, ran the removal tool, a simple process, reinstalled LiveSafe and so far, touch wood, my problem seems to have been resolved, thank you again your advice is appreciated
