McAfee Quietly Renewing For Full Retail?

I got an email from McAfee saying they successfully auto-renewed my antivirus for another year. Ordinarily I would have deleted the message because I get dozens of emails every day advertising something. The word "successfully" caught my eye. I don't have any subscriptions with McAfee. It caused me to dig a little deeper https://kodi.bio/  .

It turns out I helped a woman at work buy a notebook computer for her daughter that went off to college 4 years ago. She went to Costco and purchased what I thought was a very nice machine at a very good price . It came with a year of McAfee. OK, she needs antivirus anyway. I set the computer up, de-junked it, registered McAfee, and everyone was happy. That was 2016. McAfee charged her credit card $19.99 in 2017, $59.99 in 2018, and $59.99 in 2019. All automatically. I'm pretty sure the woman doesn't realize what's happening and just accepted the charges, or maybe doesn't understand them so she just lets them roll. That's a load of crap. There's no doubt in my mind that companies do this knowing a certain percentage won't question the line item on their CC statement.

The more I thought about this, the madder I became. **bleep**ing McAfee used the credit card info used to purchase the computer originally at Costco. That could be the other way around. **bleep**ing Costco gave the credit card info to McAfee to make "quiet" sales. Either way, that's a pretty lousy thing to do https://mobdro.bio/ .

I'm sure McAfee watches this thread. You guys suck. That's some underhanded bull**bleep**. Not only am I going to help the woman get a refund, I'm going to pass this along to the appropriate authorities. If nothing else, I'm going to share this experience with as many people as possible so they'll know what kind of **bleep** practices you're engaged in.
