McAfee Question - ex-Mac user

Hi! I just switched from Mac to Lenovo/Windows, and I have a question. This McAfee anti-virus thing keeps popping up, telling me my free trial is running out. Do I HAVE to have this software? Do I need to pay for it? If not, can I delete this progomegle ram off my computer?

I don't want my PC to get all buggy like they did in the old days - part of why I switched to Mac. What do you think?

Re: McAfee Question - ex-Mac user

Hi @syntkemin

Greetings From McAfee,

We would like to inform you whenever you do a purchase of new Laptop/PC. You will be getting McAfee as a 30-days trial. Once it is about to expire you will be getting pop-ups for renewal. Incase if you would like to renew the subscription, you can click on renew subscription and it will be your paid subscription.

If not, You can uninstall it from your device. However it is good to have security software in windows device for protection purpose.

Regards,
Smita Kumari
