McAfee Live Safe and BSOD

Hi

A brand new HP ProDesk 600 G3 with Windows 10. After McAfee Live Safe installed the PC crashes few times a day with BSOD "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED".

Memory diagnostics shows no errors, hard drive test - no errors. RAM replaced with a new one but PC still crashes. Windows diagnoscits completed, Windows fast startup option disabled, sft /scannow completed, searched for unknown devices, full antivirus and malware scan done - no help. All HP updates installed including the newest BIOS, network adapter driver update and all Microsoft updates installed, but still no luck.

Uninstalled McAfee and immediatelly problem has gone.

Has anyone experienced any similar issues? What would be the solution? Buy another security product instead?

Thanks!

Re: McAfee Live Safe and BSOD

thanks for the link, however it does only explain how to configure Windows memory dumps, it doesn't resolve the issue with McAfee crashing the system.
