I'm trying to install Internet security. Approximately 80% through, I get the error message:
Install.exe - Bad Image
C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Temp\CSISCache\Install\Download_Files\default\msc\mcmscins.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
Followed by: Sorry, your McAfee software couldn't be installed.
I've followed the instructions through How to Fix this - running the virtual technician and the software removal tool. I've also cleared my cache, and deleted all temporary files on my laptop - no difference. I've tried running the installer in safe mode, but the same error appears.
Software: Internet Security
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit)

Try that fix. Also before running the installer again run the MCPR tool in case parts of the old install remain.
So it worked or you now hopeful?
Thank you for your help.
After following the instructions in the link, and using a different browser, Internet Security is installed and running.
