McAfee Error

Good Morning!

Recently, there was a problem with my Notebook system, and I needed to perform a recovery to reset and reinstall Windows to keep my files. However, after this installation, application update, and others, McAffe has a problem accessing Firewall. When I open it to make any changes to any settings, it presents an open page with an infinite loading symbol, and has not stopped since. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!!!

hello,

since you have done a recovery installation of windows perhaps it is best to do also a reinstall of mcafee itself to avoid any conflicts that may be the cause of your error.....

to do so;

https://service.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s55728c97_466d_4ddb_952d_...

1 use windows programs and features in Control Panel to remove McAfee Livesafe and Webadvisor. reboot the computer

2 download and run MCPR the removal tool to clean up most of the remaining fiiles and registry entries. (you can download from above page)

3. update windows itself before doing a new install of mcafee and reboot.

4. download the new mcafee installer from your account and proceed with the new installation.

hopefully this will fix it.

i would like to ask if you have done a reinstall of mcafee and did it fix your problem accessing the firewall perhaps ?
