Hi, I have BT Virus protect via by broadband contract. Of course, this is actually mcafee AV software...
I have had to refresh Windows 10 on my laptop (due to a driver problem). When trying to reinstall the AV, I get a failure message and advised to run McAfee Virtual Technician, which gives some fairly unintelligble results relating to temporary files...
I tried talking to McAfee support, but they said to call BT. I tried to talk to BT but they are clearly not experts in McAfee and had no interest in the MVT log output. Instead they have offerered to call me in two days time (!) to try to resolve this.
Any advice about how I can fix this without waiting two days?
