I have the free MalwareBytes as a back-up virus-chaser, and I have been pointed to the MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit free download, which helps to make Internet browsing safer. Is this worth using, and will it cause conflicts with my McAfee (including SiteAdvisor) if I do install it?
I don't see why it shouldn't be OK. I use two browser add-ons already for that purpose, McAfee WebAdviser and Web Of Trust a.k.a. WoT.
The premium one may prove a little to keen on protecting you from what I read at their website but the free version I think should be OK.
I guess there's no harm in trying?
I moved this to the General area. I forgot to add that I also use MalwareBytes with no problems.
It will function just fine alongside your McAfee Products. I myself am running it. v1.07.1.1015. It is something similar to Microsoft's EMET Application. I might add that it is the (Free) Version I have installed.
Thanks for that -- I'll download it. I find the Free Malwarebytes useful for rooting out the odd surreptitiously-downloaded minor unwanted program that McAfee overlooks.
Yes Malwarebytes takes a more stringent approach in regards to (PUPS) Potentially Unwanted Programs, in comparison to basically all Anti-Virus Vendors. This is why utilizing it as a 'Compliment' to your McAfee Protection is a good idea.

Me too, good luck 😉
I've had Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit running alongside McAfee without any problems whatsoever.
