Is McAfee Malware? Adware? Shareware? Freeware?

I am again getting daily or twice daily Pop Up Ads forced onto my desktop to extend my subscription.

They are "different" offers every time. This way McAfee can say "They only appear once", you must have a problem. Nice spin.

McAfee is Adware.

That should not be happening - your installation must be either corrupted, for whatever reason, or about to expire anyway and only you know that as you haven't said either way in your post above.

Contact Technical Support, it's free by phone or online chat linked under Useful Links at the top of this page.

If it would adware, it would catch itself every second and hang up trying to remove itself

Finally got sick of the adware and canceled my subscription.
