I have an Acer laptop that is being blocked by the firewall from accessing the internet. The McAfee security menu indicates the subscription expiry is 10/14/2008 (expired). How do I restore access?

Hello Peter

It sounds like the version of McAfee is pretty old based on expiry date and needs to be updated. Please remove the existing McAfee and install fresh from your Online Account. Note that you will gain Internet access as soon as the outdated version of McAfee is removed from the PC

I removed McAfee using the Windows remove function. I'm still blocked. Diagnostics indicates to check firewall setting for HTTP port (80), HTTPS (443) and FTP (21). I confirmed these setting values.

Use MCPR in that link as well then if still an issue wait for Selvan though It would then not be a McAfee issue but a Windows one maybe.
