Hello, I am seeking a configuration option in the McAfee software to opt out of promotional ads for upgrades for new optional software, aka Cyber Monday deals, etc.
These popups are way too frequent and there is not readily an easy way to prevent them from reappearing.
#1 This is a paid version of McAfee (Why does McAfee Total Protection still need to show ads?)
#2 Ads are NOT related to renewal of service or warning of x number of days until current service expires.
#3 Ads are about other services or features that McAfee can offer.
#4 USA - EST
#5 Software is up-to-date, update was ran at time of this posting Version 16.0 R40 Build 19.10.144 en-us
#6 Solution must only disable these non-value alerts, described above, and must not compromise important security alerts, aka subscription is running out.
#7 Currently, under General Setting and Alerts for the Informational Alerts all options within that menu are unchecked.
#8 The typical environment is a standard user account
Thanks!

Hi @DarthPhoenix,
We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we currently do not have an option to exclude alerts for other McAfee prodcuts. Also, these alerts regarding the other features are mostly a part of your paid subscripiton. But we will forward your valuable feedback to our development team to consider this on the future roadmaps.
Thanks,
Avinash.
