I've tried many things to get rid of Radial Point, including;
the Windows install cleanup, which i can't find any of the RPS when run,
the RPS unistall tool,
the Macafee patch,
and I have also looked in program files to see if i can find the files but can't seem too
However the installer still persists to tell me that it is still there,
any other ways to resovle this?
Thanks,
Ash
Try http://kb.freedom.net/index.php?ToDo=view&Frame=1&questId=493&catId=13
Which leads to http://kb.freedom.net/index.php?ToDo=view&Frame=1&questId=53&catId=13
There's a removal tool on that first page.
I should have added that their support is here: http://www.radialpoint.net/support/index.php
If all else fails you could remove the registry key that is causing the McAfee Installer to halt.
Look for the following key. If it is present, you can rename it, or delete it.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{D7DF917E-C963-42B4-AD48-837ACA6D8859}
Then retry the installation and let us know how it goes.
Thanks, I have tried the first one, and it doesn't work
but thank you for the support link.
And the registery key doesn't seem to be there, there isn't a directory called CurrentVersion
There should be, what operating system/service pack is this?
You reach that key by typing in Start/Run 'regedit' minus the '', then click OK or hit the Enter key.

If you have time I can connect to your computer and try to fix it. Reply back and I will give you my email address to get things rolling.
Do you have time to do it now?
Yes
