Help: McAfee Stops working after Windows Vista Update or Dell PC Tune up Registery Maintenance

I have a dell Studio one computer which came with a McAfee subscription for 3 years. The problem that I am having is that, every time their is a windows update dealing with Windows Vista or when my computer runs dell pc tune up  Registery Maintenance, McAfee stops working after the system restarts. So I have to uninstall and reinstall McAfee everytime.

I had this problem with my old studio one computer which eventually crashed so dell replaced it with a new one, and with my new studio one I am still having the same problems.

Can someone tell what sms to be the problem?

I would recommend you to avoid using Registry Maintenance, because I guess it's removing some of the McAfee's registry keys while doing the maintenance so after you restart the computer it makes the McAfee programs to either disable or corrupt.

Moreover, rather than using Registry Maintenance you shall use McAfee's PC Optimization> Quick Clean to clean all the broken/ unwanted registry keys and avoid any such instances in future

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
