Having pop-up and other isssues

About four days ago, we started having pop-up issues, also you try to go to a site, something really foreign comes up, have to try that site 2 or 3 times, taking forever to get a site to come up.  We have run 3 comprehensive scans last 2 days, two items were quarantined, problems have not been resolved, they're getting worse!!!  Just tried to do my online banking, 2 different websites popped up instead of our bank??   What the heck is going on, apparently, running the scan doesn't help.  Contacted McAfee two days ago, have heard NOTHING!!   When I try to run the virtual technician to chat with someone, I get 2 different warnings about running this file, the file on the bottom says absolutely nothing about McAfee, the file looks bogus to me. We had no pop-up issues at all until 3 or 4 days ago. What can I do??

Hello Vikingfan10,

If I understood correctly you performed 2 scans and successfully quarantine the items but I'd like to know if they are viruses, ad-aware, malware, trojans..?

Do you have the latest DAT file running in McAfee?

What OS are you using? (Windows XP, Vista, Seven)

What version of McAfee you have? (2008, 2009, 2010)

I know that maybe it is not well seen to tell you to download and install the latest Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware version from: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and perform a full scan, in a McAfee forum, but I would if I have a problem that must be solved ASAP.

Tell me what happens.
