Error 3050 in visual basic 6

I have a distributed program written in VB6 that connects with Access databases.  Regularly, when doing a database search  users that have McAfee installed are getting error 3050 which corresponds to 'Couldn't lock file; SHARE.EXE hasn't been loaded.'

If they disable McAfee real time scanning the error does not occur.

How can I avoid this issue, is there a way to exclude my program from the scanning please?

Thanks

Submit your programme to the labs for clearance.

Here:  https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB66642&pmv=print

or here:  http://www.mcafee.com/us/threat-center/resources/how-to-submit-sample.aspx

Are those people using consumer or Enterprise software?   Best they individually contact Technical Support for Consumers, and the Portal for Enterprise.

Exceptions can be added to Enterprise versions and will soon be possible in Consumer too but probably best they all consult with support in the meanwhile.
