I recently re-purchased my Mcafee subscription that came with my PC. But whenever I try to install it, it's stuck on the "Preparing" Stage, stating things like "This concent can't be displayed in a frame."
I left it to run for almost an entire day, no progress. I disabled Window Defender, and ran the Pre-installer program to clean up any loose files to ensure a good installation, nothing has worked.

"The problem turned out to be that my security settings in Internet Options were too restrictive. Thank you McAfee Technical Support who logged into my machine remotely and fixed the problem. I could have fixed the problem myself if I had known this was the problem. Just go into Internet Options and click "Restore Defaults". Then start up IE and choose to use the recommended defaults."
Did you first go to your Control Panel/Programs and Features/Remove/Restart.? Then follow up with the McAfee Product Removal MCPR. Also please make sure you are current with all of your Windows Updates/Add-ons/and Internet Explorer. In addition make sure no other pre-existing security software is installed.
Then of course go to your account and Download/Install your software.
If you still are experiencing issues you can always contact Technical Support'

I've tried that, and ensured any software isn't installed. Nothing
Barring any Malware being on board, I would contact Technical support. Wait time generally only 3-5 minutes. Online Chat/Phone being by far the quickest.
Out of curiosity, do you have the Latest Adobe Flash Player installed? ( 24.0.0.194 )

Good to know but you are installed now so should be ok. It is a rare issue and a search of the forum found that option I was stumped.
