Thanks for the update. I did provide Somer with an account under mine that could be used , but I removed it when I was informed that a dialup connection was unable to be arranged. However , an account is not really needed (at least with CompuServe) as even attempting to get access numbers will fail. Account info is only needed after the user's system handshakes with the ISP. If one is needed with CompuServe , have someone contact me (PM is fine) and I can set one up.

Somer has a copy of the CompuServe 2000 version 6 software.

so after almost a year, and time for another subscription payment, mcafee is close to fixing their problem. emagine that.

they are not close to fixing it they just want more of your money and let you all fight this problem for another year.

Well 8mths not 12. The problem i feel was after they could not get an answer accessing Jmckee's PC things slowed down. They now are moving in the right direction and I will keep asking weekly for updates.

Celavey nothing is fixed yet or are you trying to be funny?

The difficulty in getting the needed info was that when the problem occurred , it crashed the user's system. There was no way to get the data.
