Thanks. I did as instructed and the same thing happened. I got an error mesage that an unexpected error occured-click OK to go to home and rerun the scan. I did, with the same results. I then went through the procedure again and the scan once again stopped at the problem file ending in $RDAM7K8.tmp. I doubt that it's relevant, but the file count on the Mcafee progress report is #4259.

I really appreciate any help you mcan give me.
