Thanks PeaceKeeper.
I dont have the file accessable at the momment. I did a system restore to an earlier point before infection.
This consrv.dll is the reason why Firewall is no longer accessible for customers as it overrides it. It basically sneaks in and replaces winsrv.dll my modifying registry items.
Updating the software virus definitions appeared to of caught the problem virus before the virus had a chance corrupt the firewall. http://home.mcafee.com/VirusInfo/VirusProfile.aspx?key=770194
It was only recently discovered by Mcafee on Jan 20 2012.
Customers may be looking for a fix once infected, will likely involve rebuilding some registrys for the base filtering engine and the windows firewall. Instructions for doing so can be found http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprosecurity/thread/5366225a -46e7-4d6c-a389-8bd.... However this wont work if consrv.dll is still on your system.
