Hello.
Yesterday, upon sign in to Skype, I got a "blocked risky connection" pop up from McAfee, this has never happened before.
The IP number is 69.63.190.74 and it said "Last attempted by:Skype"
The IP continually keeps getting blocked, but now it says "Last attempted by: Firefox"
As far as I can tell it's a Facebook Corporation IP? And I know Skype has the ability to connect with Facebook so maybe that's why It caught it there first? Any ideas? False positive perhaps?
I have scanned my PC and it's clean.
Please, any help is appreciated!
I also looked up the IP at http://www.trustedsource.org/ and it's the only IP in the "Neighboring IP" section that is high risk..
I see that something must have triggered that.
Maybe report this to trusted source

that said netguard disabling should have stopped the detection unless it is Site advisor? Are you talking about a black warning at the top of the FB page?
no a chrome warning that page can not be reached as it is blcoked by firewall turning off firewall solves problem i play a web game called LoU it has a conduit to FB it also wont play with firewall active yes i agree turning off netguard should have worked but it did not only a fully disabling of the firewall does
I contacted TrustedSource about it to see what they would say.
They thanked me for submitting the IP for review, and said they have removed the old rating from the site. (I assume they mean TrustedSource, although it still shows up red on site advisor).
It also says it will be categorized as 'social networking' in the next control list and that the web reputation will be updated to green!
So..long story short, I'm assume it was just a mistake.
SO see if if works and post back
Changed to green now.
